Alright so it’s been a hot minute since I last used this space. We’ve had significant life change for us since we last spoke…. it’s been a challenging yet unexpected year for sure. I thought I’d try and document this as best as I can.

So many good memories…. so many adventures. New career, new house, new kid, new pregnancy.

Many hard conversations. Much pain, much growing, much sadness.

Lots of love, lots of laughter, lots of faithfulness and lots of thankfulness.

Many things we were able to accomplish, many things we wanted to accomplish, many goals set and many many many changed plans.

All is all 2021 is not what we (or I) expected or maybe even wanted, but here we are. I’m grateful for the journey and the many experiences (good or bad) of this year. I’ve learned to slow down and focus on what and who really matters to me. I’ve learned even more so that I’m a stranger in this world we live in and “this place” is not my home. That my life should and will look different than the “world”. I happily embrace this and try to encourage others to do so.

I’m sure that 2022 will have it’s own peaks and valleys…as will life itself. I think this should be a great reminder for myself and others. Here’s hoping you have a blessed 2022!
